VHD jabs yearly or 6 monthly?

This has really confused me, I always thought the VHD jab was yearly, Jims had his done at our old practice in March so you can understand my confusion when we recieved a booster reminder from our new practice for him to have it done again in Jan! I called them and explained that he had it done in March and they said sometimes they need to be done 6 monthly, I called our old practice and they had never heard of this and said that he had Cyclap in March so it is due again this March?!
Has anyone else heard of this?

Sounds like they're getting mixed up with myxo. Vhd is definitely yearly according to the product data sheet, it's myxi that is 6 monthly so your bun may be due a myxi booster :)
 
Thats what I said to them, I said he has just had his Myxi jab done a couple of weeks ago and she said , yes thats right but he apparently hd his VHD done in July so is due for that now? :shock:
