they were killed by a polecat that broke into my chicken shed during the night. I cant believe it
The chicks survived so much-being born in freezing weather and being unable ot go out much due to the awful weather lately only to be murdered And the hen was only young and such a fab mummy- she sat on the eggs for a month out in the frost and rain for her babies to hatch:shock:

The shed use to be my rabbit shed until the summer so I keep thinking what would of happened if my buns had been in there:shock:
I had thought of transfering my other chickens into that shed as it is warmer last night but didnt and im so glad now.
