Pinecones?

Hi guys,

I read on Wikipedia that rabbits can chew on pine cones and was wondering if they were safe for my three girls? I googled it at first and I got conflicting answers!

I'm not sure if they can be ones you pick up off the ground or ones you can buy or both/either/neither.

My buns have pine cones to chew on and they love chucking them around too.

Pine cones are ok as long as they have been dried... I think the oil in the sap is bad for buns.

Valentine absolutely loves them - we just picked them up off the ground for her, but the ones available to buy should be fine as long as they haven't been treated with anything
