My mum's cat Cleo was pts today 
She was 13 and had kidney failure and thyroid problems and the vet had said it was just a matter of keeping her as comfortable as possible until the end ... but we had hoped she'd have longer than this.
My mum is away on holiday so doesn't know she's gone yet. A very lovely neighbour was looking after her and stayed with her at the end, she said Cleo was purring as she stroked her and it was very peaceful.
Sleep well beautiful Cleo. I'll always rememer you as the funny cat who kept trying to sit in tissue boxes like you did as a little kitten, even though you could only fit in one paw
