Scamper free Murray xx
We have lost our three year old hammie Murray this afternoon
He came home with my husband on 23rd December 2006 ... he had popped out for some shopping and came back with a rather vocal and feral hamster who we eventually named Murray (by opening the baby name book and randomly pointing at a name :lol. Murray moved with us to our new house in 2007, living in a huge Crittertrail pad with loads of tubes, wheels and hidey holes. He never really became tame ... would rather bite a chunk out of your finger  ... but used to happily come out of the cage door and into his ball for playtimes.
We'd been waiting for the inevitable for some time - obviously 3 is a great age for a hammie. Over the last few days he deteriorated and this morning we decided to help him to the Bridge. By the time we got to the vets he was almost there.
Scurry free little man. We will miss you xxx
