I went out to put the bunnies to bed last night and heard a dog screaming.My neighbours four month old puppy had got out the house and had been hit by a car.A paramedic had stopped,we put Jess in the back of his car and eventually found a vet.I sat with her all the way there and she had quite a strong heart beat.The vet gave her an opiate pain killer and she slipped away.
I have Jess here as my neighbour doesn't want her young children to see her and will be taking her over this morning to be buried.What a waste of such a precious little life.
