We rescued Garnet last New Year when her previous family could no longer take care of her. She'd always been a single piggie but we bonded her with Hurley after Rikku died. We don't know exactly how old she was but we think around 4 years, she was a beautiful rough-haired black and ginger piggie, with a great little personality - friendly and quiet (unless she heard food coming!).

RIP little Garnet piggie, we'll miss you.

Thanks everyone.

Last Monday we bought a container rose bush and buried her in the pot (on a bed of her favourite hay). The rose is a lovely red "wild" variety (as in it looks like a wild rose but isn't), and it's "carpeting" so it'll spread nicely and look very pretty.

Hurley seems to be doing surprisingly well. To be honest, the two of them weren't really close like Hurley and Rikku were, so for now he'll be a single piggie as he seems very happy still.
