  • Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Help please.....dragging back legs

Thanks so much to everyone for all your support....we know she may go back downhill (still has to have the towels laid out before she comes out the cage ) but we are so happy........and tonight we had some periscoping!!!!

For all of you that remember this thread just to let you know Stew is still doing just fine :) She is still as loved up as ever with Dumpling and now we have a new addition - a beeeeeeeeautiful baby girl Rex

Yeah Stew seems even happier now we have Belle, we are so glad we didn't give up on her. She still has her off days when her legs seem a bit stiff but all in all she is great!

The new addition is Belle (she was going to be Gravy but my son decided she was far too pretty for that name!) Looks identical to your signature Pic, but only a bit smaller, i can't believe how gorgeous rex's are

It's lovely to hear from you again clairb1 :D:D:D:D
Stew is one of those very special bunnies, I'm delighted that all continues to go well. :D:D:D
Have you thought of a pretty herb name for your new addition perhaps?

ooh! no didn't think of that, my little boy likes Belle. He thought of it with his Nanna - her favourite flower is Harebell, and he thinks Belle looks like a hare :)
Yes, i am back :) haven't been on for quite a while and thank you, Stew is a very special bunny
