I had to have my Bambi put to sleep today........

I loved you from the start,
The first time I held you in my arms
You slipped into my heart,
With your sweet gentle ways
And your twitchy little nose,
I love you and miss you
More than anyone knows.


I sent you on a journey not because I didn't love you, but because I loved you too much to force you to stay.
