I'm intrigued by all these buzzing bunnies! I've had a honker (a female pre neutering who got quite fierce about her food bowl), a growler/pouncer, and they've all chattered/crackled when their noses...

    Squeaks and other bunny sounds

Dusty squeaks and has since she was a baby. Rarely grunts but makes a wuffling noise and does the teeth purring/crackle thing that most bunnies do. Also stamps!

What kind of noises do your rabbits...

Dusty does this too. Stands on her hind legs and lifts up her front paws. If I crackle her bag of rabbit goodies she comes running over straight away.

Aw, what lovely long ears that bun has, Jane! Thanks for the pictures.

Yes, A Reader of Books - always alert! I knew how unhappy she was post spay as her ears were folded right down and motionless...
  11. Eloquent Ears! Does your bunny talk to you with his ears?

Dusty has long crooked silky ears, not the usual short, furred lionhead ears. Her dad was a lop and her ears are always up and down. Very sweet.

They're very sensitive and nearly always moving. If...

Thank you! Apparently it's a seroma and quite common after neutering rabbits, cats and dogs. Caused by too much stretching and Dusty does do a lot of it. 😂

I'm not surprised as they don't separate by sex and always say that they can't guarantee your bunny being male or female. They then keep the rabbits together and unsold well past 4 months so of...
