I know what you mean about where will the wee go. I had the same dilema when bonding but in the end i put down extra thick wad of paper and megazorb with hay on top. Don't worry the bun won't mind....

Yes sounds very normal. He will get bored of chasing after a day or so. As long as there is any fighting they will be good companions. :D

No insultation. I gave them a large carboard box last winter. I put vet bed on bottom, plenty of hay and blanket over the top of it. Really cosy. :D I also had a 800w oiled filled radiator on low....
