RIP little bun
I'm very sorry to read this unexpected update, it is so sad for you and your family, particularly since you have been away from home
Feeding a younger bun is different to an adult one, but when your buns are adults you need to reduce the amount of pellets (and carrots) to increase the amount of hay they eat.
Hopefully someone...
We hand feed our buns their pellets, usually sitting in the pen with them, the buns will usually climb on us to get the pellets. Visiting children have also fed them, but we don't have any toddlers...
Wow, well done for acting so quickly and rescuing those abandoned buns, how can people leave them like that.
What state is the house in?
I think one of the buns is engaged in a "sploof" in that...
I'm sure someone will be along soon with better advise, but I would take some hay and one of the RWAF rabbit care booklets, then keep my fingers crossed they read and act appropriately
Well done for...
What a great photo, I can guess why he wants to be with her!
Hopefully he will still want to be with her once he has had the chop
I'm very sorry Jane, neither you or Elsa deserved this
Be kind to yourself, you and your vet did everything to help her
M&TM, what a lovely little Dutch boy he seems to be making friends already
I utterly love the Arlie and the Howell meanings
I assume you have seen the Mischief and Thinker Mum trio bonding videos in the sticky?
It depends on the particulat bun, is she chewing her current hutch? One of our (indoor) buns can be a demon chewer, the other would be fine.
What a lovely update, I hope the bond continues to strengthen, two buns snuggling up is so lovely.
I'm sorry I am unable to advise regarding the hay/pellet quantities
What devastating news, I'm so sorry you lost her
I'm very sorry, what a terrible accident. You can only do so much to try and cover every eventuality and you were certainly doing everything for the right reasons
Be kind to yourself
What devastating news, I'm very sorry to read the update
Signed
What lovely colouring, no wonder he was snapped up
Good luck Omi

We are in West Berkshire and use Anton Vets in Andover. So far our buns have been lucky enough not to have required a dental operation

At this stage I would suggest your local equine supplier, but you could try www.hayandstraw.co.UK
