Personally I would always choose a rabbit savvy vet, especially for operations. Even if it meant paying vs having it done for free. An experienced vet on the species is paramount imo

A bond between 2 girls is the hardest to attempt and if either or both aren’t spayed it’s not something that’s recommended so I’m not surprised it didn’t work out. Just because one bond didn’t work...
