When Phoebe broke her leg i kept her in her shed but removed anything she could jump onto or off of. She got around quite well, and if her plaster got damaged or wet I went back to have it redone. ...
I know its not nice to think of them having less space but its only temporary. Think it would be worse if they were seperated.
I had a group of 4 when Phoebe broke her leg and I confined them as...
We have a local Hedgehog rescue which uses and small hutches for the poorly hedgehogs.
We have had lots of success injecting our drugs...its cheaper and most of the time less traumatic for the buns compared to trying to get oral medicines in. I was really worried about doing it but...
Aww bless him....how is Ollie today?
I think I would be shy too. Why dont you invite him to the RWAF conference in Manchester - perfect excuse :)
My vet suggested trying Arthri-Aid for one of our rabbits and my dog. The dose is the same as for a cat. However I have not seen much improvement on either the rabbit or the dog. Glucosamine does...
If a vet has said she has stasis she will need small but frequent feeds. Has she seen a vet yet? She may need a quick injection of metaclop to get things moving, and in my experience faster action is...
Do only a small amount to start. It will keep covered in the fridge for 24 hours ish
Also in the past I have found putting normal science selective pellets in a blender to make a fine powder. Then add water to it again.
Then you can add things like dried dandelion too.
Cut the end off your syringe before you try to get the food stuff into it.
Make the science recovery into a thickish paste - it needs to be thin enough to get into the syringe though....good luck.
I think he has the nicest male backside i have seen in a long time
My camera was out for 5 mins today before the bunnies looked like they had enough of the snow! But I managed to snap these of my ex foster bun Flavian (the one who was stained yellow with urine) - ...
have space but can't get to Rugby tommorow as we are snowed in
I have space for them in Coventry however they need to get to me. I am not sure it will be safe here to travel for tommorow anyway.
only just seen this....glad he is home
me too
I use 21G or 23G depending on what I am injecting - some stuff is too thick for the thinner needles.
5/8" is a good length for buns. When you 'tent' the skin to inject do you inject between your...
I got a small oil filled radiator from tesco. £25 and works really well. Keeps the shed from freezing and has a thermostat
It sounds feasible if a little odd. Maybe they have found new methods for detecting EC and your lab is at the cutting edge :) After all antibody detection is not always very reliable.
I may come accross quite sad here and apologies if you are already aware of this, but PCR is a way of finding VERY small amounts of DNA in a sample. Could it be a way of detecting EC even if it is at...
Thank you for your reply Jane
I wondered if there is partial paralysis/nerve damage and that might explain why he is not hopping properly either.
How do you manage with yours?
This is my foster bun Magnus -

He arrived in the rescue with a urinary infection, an abcess on his jaw...
