I tend to find that fenugreek crunchies often cause the rabbit to suddenly come down with amnesia about what just happened
Since they can't be touched, my first thought (after using groom mittens etc when you can touch them) was a bolt box or something with a circular hole. Especially after nibbling on the hole a bit it...
Morning nebulising and a quick check- eyes and nose clear, swelling reduced. Not quite back to normal yet but much more so than yesterday :)
You don't mention his poop, I'm assuming that's normal as well?
While I'll admit that the gurgliest rabbits I've had have had intestinal issues, if everything is going in fine and coming out fine...
Not recently, no. I'd have to double check his vaccine card.
- Edit- it was last June.
Yesterday evening I took Quinn out of his house to bring him in for nebulising and off-handedly checked his bottom. Nice and clean, but I got an unexpected shock- swollen genitals.
Alarm bells for...
If he's a young rabbit with no symptoms and a good diet I personally wouldn't bother with the x-rays (I'd only really be inclined to check up on teeth, but if external exam of the mouth shows his...

He lives in an aviary, there's no way I'd be able to get that into my bedroom anyway  The problem is that my bed takes up the majority of the space. In order to move him into my room I'd have to...
He's the same. He's not enjoying the cold weather. I do wish I had a bigger bedroom so I could bring him in.
Next vet review is the 9th Jan.
Wishing him, and you, all the best. I'm sorry to hear it and I know the feeling :(
It's interesting that you are having similar problems to me- Quinn has a constant breathing rate of around 160...
No change, although his bloods are now normal :) He will be starting a steroid inhaler. CT scan still on the table.
I wish I received notes actually writing this down, but from what I gathered they are two different trials- the gabapentin as a bigger painkiller and the vivitonin to see if it is circulatory based,...
Thanks all. The vet said that if he responds to either of these meds it would narrow down diagnosis considerably.
...
Meloxadyl and nebulising had no effect. Now on gabapentin and vivitonin.
I don't know that the specialist does suspect that at this point, I think he's leaning more towards irritation of the lungs/COPD type illness.
I had to google that. My usual vet mentioned washing but is not confident to do something like that. The expert vet has not mentioned it.
Thanks all.
He lives outside. One thing that I mentioned to the vet was that I had a couple of bags of hay (usual brand) that had obviously come from a different supplier and was more like...
So far there are no signs there is anything wrong with the heart. Heartbeat normal, sounds normal, x-ray normal.
One of my favourite holiday boarder stories from my last job was the pair who came in as Holly and Nibbles and left as Nibbles and Richard
My boy Quinn has not been well lately. I say that, but he's been eating like a horse, pooping wonderfully and if he hears a fenugreek crunchie packet he's halfway up the door. That's why it took me...
Yes, the vet did say that, although she was very awkward when doing it and I obviously blindsided her by being miserable in the waiting room. Ultimately I also know that while they'll be ok...
Thanks again.
I'd never heard of the IAPT. It looks like there is one in my county, although online/by phone talking is also an issue because I live with other people and don't have the privacy to...
Thanks all.
The rabbits are separated as Bailey and Pandora were- they can see each other and each side is minimum space requirement. I can't make completely separate accommodation. My vet is the...

I have to decide on the fates of Adelaide and Quinn. Not knowing why they are fighting is a big issue, especially since they were fine again at the rescue. One suggestion was that my...
