I don't think the calculator adds up. E.g, Maple weighs 3kg. If I went off of their recommendation I'd be feeding her 60 grams of pellets per day! I give her one and a half heaped tablespoons at...

He nibbled the corner shortly after I took that photo, apparently he likes to sample cardboard too
The hugest thanks to Joey&Boo for sending me some hay samples, I'm so grateful! The buns are just checking them out now - no verdict yet other than that Hamilton thinks the box is very...
Thank you everyone
Thank you so much everyone for the kind words. I'm pleased to report that Maple is back to normal now, and eating stalky hay for the first time in weeks, so that is a good sign that the dental has...
Just wondering what the norm is, because Plumpkin used to have regular dentals, and I'm pretty sure we always had to give her metacam a few days afterwards. I was told yesterday that Maple didn't...
Awww he's absolutely beautiful, Happy Adoption Day special boy!
Thank you so much everybody <3 They are a beautiful pair and I feel really lucky to have found them last summer. It is bittersweet, because we would not have been searching for unwanted rabbits, had...
Thanks for the advice Omi, Joey&Boo <3 We syringe fed her a small amount of critical care half an hour ago, as she has still hardly eaten. She took it well and is lying on the snugglesafe now. I'm...
Mine is the original Rye (just checked the box) - I ordered a few days before they announced it was sold out on Facebook, so must have got one of the last boxes. It sounds like the new one is very...
Lily and Maple are inside with us tonight whilst Maple recovers from her dental. They were a bit freaked out at first because they've never really been inside before, but are settling down now....
I as wondering about this - how long should I leave her before syringe feeding? She seems a little more alert now, but has not eaten anything since before her dental at around 8.00am this morning....
There's no dust at all, really impressed. They haven't tried the meadow yet because they are so obsessed with the Rye Hay, but I would say that the meadow hay strands look very short, which I don't...
I don't know how I missed this thread, but I have just read it all through, and my heart breaks for you, JessBun. I know it is easier said than done, but please don't blame yourself. It's so clear...
I agree with those saying that she should be taken in asap. Rabbits can deteriorate very rapidly. I would try to get an appointment for tomorrow or Saturday if you can.
Thank you for the reassurance guys. I've brought her in because she's still woozy and I want to keep a close eye on her. She still hasn't eaten yet. Her dental was over five and a half hours ago so...
Very impressed by the quality and it is going down a treat. You know it's good hay when they don't hesitate to hoover it all up!

My rabbit had a dental today and it cost £179.00 (this included initial examination/checkup). Unfortunately rabbits are extremely expensive pets to keep - they are 'advertised' by the pet industry...
Thank you Jane, that is extremely helpful :)
Maple went in for her dental this morning and I know that it was definitely finished by 1.30pm when I spoke to the vet on the phone. It is 4.30 now, we have just got home and she is really unsteady...
I think I will definitely have to get one, especially since my vet shamed me for my hand me down 1970s one from my granny  To be fair it is really sturdy, but it would be better if the top...
I really wish that mine weren't hay snobs  The problem is that hay can vary so much between harvests, or even batches. Usually mine love the Ings from Hay & Straw, which is affordable for me,...
I do have friends with horses! I'm an equestrian myself but not a horse owner, I'll ask some of my friends and see if they have any, great idea :)
Yes, it was £3.50, which I believe is their flat rate delivery regardless of how much you order. I will let you know if my bunnies like their hay...the reviews are good so I'm hopeful. Zigzag, I...
Just placed an order with them last night for one box of meadow hay and one box of rye hay, will be interested to see what it is like :)
