  • Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Snowy isn’t doing well

She was gorgeous through & through. Still thinking of you, OH & Phillip - Rudey sends loves to his glossy black bunny cyber friend xx

I'm so very sorry to hear of the loss of Snowy. What a beautiful wee soul. I'm with everyone else as to your decision to keep her home. I know seeing her pass must have been so hard. Bless you for keeping her needs foremost.

Hoping you and your OH and Phillip find comfort with each other at this very sad time. Thinking of you all. Sleep well, Snowy. xxxxx

I can't believe your Snowy has gone to the bridge - I am really sorry she had to go. I have been in tears, this is just such a shock and so sad. She had an absolutely bunderful bunderful life with you and Phillip. I also think you are a really brave bunny mum being there and allowing Snowy to pass so comfortably. I hope Phillip is ok. Dennis and Maple said you are welcome to come and visit their warren if you are ever feeling sad. Sending so much love and nose nudges xxxx
