My sons cat JAck Had to be PTS on Sunday afternoon
He was a beautiful Blue-eyed white and deaf (apparently quite common)
A few days before, he went indoors, covered in black stuff and hobbling
They took him to the vets and he had a hole in his abdomen and a damaged foot.
The vet initially thought he had been hit by a car, but after x-rays, could see that there were no broken bones, so unlikey he had been hit by a car.
He was put on a drip and had blood tests taken.
He seemed to pick up a bit over the few days, but on Sunday they found he had an infection in his abdomen and decided it was time to PTS.
He never left the house to venture out and always relied on their other Cat Alfie to warn him of danger, so we don't know why he chose to venture out on that fatal day!
It was almost a year to the day, since they had their beautful Collie dog Bradley PTS after having 2 failed operations to correct his Hip displacements.
Go and find Bradley, JAck and snuggle up together again, as you did before.
