Is this hutch/run combo any good?

To be honest for the same money you could get a HappyHutch hutch/run combo, which looks to be much better build quality and more room

This looks over priced for what it is, the hutch looks way too small and the build is cheap and flimsy

I highly reccommend the welfare hutch company. Good strong hutches and they only sell ones of a decent size.

Just seen that they are not taking any more orders atm. Not sure when you would need it.

Way too small unfortunately. The indoor living area is just about 3ft x 2ft, and only 1ft tall. That's way too small for an indoor area and won't let bunnies stand up properly.

The run is 7ft which is a good length, but at only 2ft wide and 1ft 7inches tall it is again way too small. There's nowhere in that setup which is 2ft high, so any bunnies stuck in there would not be able to stretch up properly at all - which can lead to horrific problems with muscle wastage.

These commercially built hutches are often terrible quality wood which is very thin and doesn't last.

The minimum for a pair of buns is 6 x 2 x 2 hutch with a 8 x 4 x 2 run.

Happy hutches do a great hutch/run combo: http://www.happyhutch.co.uk/rabbit-hutches-runs/sykes-rabbit-hutch-run-combo-detail. The 6 x 2 x 2 + 6 x 4 x 2 run is £170, and you can buy a 4ft addition for £99 which would make the run 10 x 4 which would be fantastic. Alternatively, I know that they will do a 6 x 2 x 2 with an 8 x 4 x 2 underneath, although I'm not sure of the price. You can also contact them on eBay if you prefer: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sykes-mas...et_Supplies_Small_Animals&hash=item51aad34cb3. Welfare hutches also do a fantastic hutch/run setup which you can get made with an 8ft run but they're currently not taking any orders.

I would recommend attaching the type of hutch/run combo that I linked above backwards, so that the front of the hutch can be opened without having to get into the run. Makes it a lot more convenient and you can it easily.

Ryedale also do hutch/run combos but they work out quite a lot more: http://www.rehutches.com/single-hutches/5-single-rabbit-hutch-with-run.html

The other option is to buy a separate run and hutch and connect it with a runaround system: http://www.runaround.co.uk/collections/connections/products/connection-kit-4 or http://www.runaround.co.uk/collections/connections/products/bridge-link if you only want a short tube

A 6 x 2 x 2 hutch is £110: http://www.happyhutch.co.uk/double-and-triple-rabbit-hutches/flat-roof-rabbit-hutches-detail and you can also get shutters which are great for winter: http://www.happyhutch.co.uk/rabbit-hutches-runs/hutch-door-shutters-detail and unfortunately happy hutch don't do an 8 x 4 x 2 run, but I see you're in Bewdley. I just got a run upgrade from these guys: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/8ft-x-6ft...247?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item4ad41660b7 and it's absolutely fantastic, I would highly recommend it.

Hi all thanks for the advice I'm going to have a look at the links you've sent.

They're indoors at the mo and always have been and I'm trying to find the best thing to get them outdoors mainly so they can have real sunlight and grass that's why I don't really want a shed because it will be almost the same as now but outside.
