New Kit
Purchased What I Tought Was A Great Rabbit Hutch To Keep 3 Rabbits Separate, Only The Design Was So Poor That The Middle Rabbit Pushed Up Base In Bed Compartment Causing Rabbit Above To Fall Into His Hutch And Get Attacked. Supplier Of Hutch Not Interested:( Had To Make Hutch Safe With Bolts To Stop This Happening. Beware Of A Hutch That Looks Good Make Sure It's Safe.

Do you have the name of the hutch supplier / hutch name at all so we can all be aware of this please?

PS Welcome to RU

Why are they separate? is is just until they are bonded? In which case they would be better off being kept in three actual separate hutches because otherwise they will be able to smell each other and try and get at each other.

When you say about the base is it like a wooden square that slots in the hole between floors? Because if so they aren't designed to keep them separate, more just if you need them to stay on one level while say you cleaned the other floors or if you needed them in one place to get them in their carry case for the vets etc, and the rest of the time you would have the ramps in there instead.

Are they different sex rabbits? And what have you done to stop it happening again?
