I've fed them, gave them treats and sat down on the couch to watch some series with some crisps as snacks... ah comfy Friday... no wait... bunnies are coming!!!

They flanked me [emoji33][emoji33] Zeus trying to steal my Heets(electric cigarettes) and Athie trying to steal my crisps(ham flavour) [emoji24][emoji24] I need more hands [emoji1787][emoji1787][emoji1787]

Ok hide the heets behind my back... put crisps on the side... Athie displays his disapprovement by nibbling my tshirt

Me too. I have tried house bunnies and they literally ate my house - TV, cushions, settee, plaster on the walls, DVD cases, sleeping bags, curtains - despite me trying to fence off certain areas. I had to give up but when I see photos on here of house bunnies sharing immaculate looking living space I do wish I had managed to rescue bunnies who were better behaved.

So after Rhianna and Bumbalicious' comments of jealous and immaculate, thought I'd share the more 'darker' side of my 2 'angels'.

Here's some pics of how messy the couch and carpets get-

Yup Athie and Zeus have taken to marking my spotty carpet, everyday I spray with vinegar and water. Thankfully they've stopped peeing on the couch.

Here's some where they've eaten my skirting boards and wall -

And some of where they've chewed my couch cushion, pillow and carpets-

And an endless amount of shredded cardboard and always seem to get a poop in the water fountain [emoji1787]

So everyday I sweep up poops, cardboard and other bits multiple times. Every 2nd day I vacuum the carpets and couch.
I'm constantly watching them and squeaking at them if they start chewing something they shouldn't but still find ripped up stuff :(
I do think I'm lucky in the sense that I'm single and only have a handful of friends and we're not that social all the time, I also work from home, so do have a lot of time to monitor them and my ocd'ness helps with the cleaning. Pretty sure if I was more social or had to go to the office my place would be in a way worse state [emoji1787][emoji1787]
Oh and they've got toys, loads of them, different types but they don't play with them.

I love them like crazy and they're mostly my whole life but sometimes I do feel like killing them [emoji1787] promise it's nothing to be jealous about :D

I feel much happier now:) The chewed upholstery and walls look very familiar. I had no TV for nearly two years as they had chewed the main cable at the back and I couldn't afford to buy a new TV. I think one of the worst things is my headphones for work (I am a call handler). They were in a box in a bag in the kitchen the other side of the bunny 'barrier'. When I got to work I picked up the headphones and realised that the cord was completely severed. They are expensive but I 'fessed up and fully expected to be invoiced for the new ones but I was lucky that the relevant Manager was an animal lover.

I am single too and rarely have people over as the house is a tip (not the bunnies' fault as they are outside now).
 
I've given up on house pride

Hay is everywhere no matter how much I brush lol

I only have people who I know won't mind over these days.

Oh no [emoji33] but that's nice of the manager though :D they've chewed a few of my cables as well. Zeus got behind my pc for less than 10secs as I immediately jumped up and shoo'd him but discovered he'd managed to chew through half of my HDMI cable and completely chewed my mouse cable [emoji2356]

I just vacuumed my blue carpet, just the blue carpet and it took me around 30mins [emoji1787]

Hahaha it's been a learning curve [emoji1787][emoji1787] but got my creativity going to figure out how to block off and such.

At least the cleaning gives me a work out every other day [emoji1787] no need for a gym [emoji123]
