Can bunnies eat Orange peel?????

Fairy13

Wise Old Thumper
 Our housebun Hazel nicked a bit of orange from my daughter yesterday (she was sat on the floor peeling it and he grabbed it!) He seems fine today but I just looked it up now and one website says yes:

and here says no to skin yes to flesh:

Can anyone tell me which is right?

Poor old Hazel seemed very partial to the peel thats what he was after but dont want to give him anymore til we know its safe.

Thanks all!!!

They can definately eat the flesh but I'm unsure on the skin (although I know the skin is higher in nutritional value, especially vit c wise). Just be careful how much they have as it's very acidic and can cause ulcerations around the mouth and in the mouth if they have too much! x
