Belle is alone... AGAIN cry :(

Guys, I can't believe this again. What is the best thing I can do for her? And when? I have a beautiful boy bunny who I adopted from someone who asked me to take him because they no longer could care for him. He is so beautiful in nature, a real cuddly bunny. And he loves his life with us.

But Belle has been through two traumas now. Is it best to wait a few weeks/months? I feel so bad for her. I can't believe she is only 2 and has lost 2 partners. And she loved Binx so deeply, and she liked Thumy a lot. I just don't know if sooner is better or wait a while?

This is Hamish

If she seems fine, and not stressed or under the weather in herself, then I would bond her with another rabbit sooner rather than later.

I am so sorry about the time you have had x

I would also do as MightyMax says. I don't think animals process grief in the same way as we do - they are much more 'in the moment'. I know there are exceptions to this, but if she seems fine then I would give it a go. Hamish is lovely.

I would say the same, try them together now. Rabbits don't look at things in quite the same way as we do at times. Perhaps hopefully it will be third time lucky!

Perhaps. It's just a thought, more bonding... But I know you guys are right. I'l go for it tomorrow I think. She was out running around and doing mini binkies so I think she is happy in herself.

You know what, if she's happy at the moment, you could give both of you a little break ... and wait a bit maybe?

Yes I think we do need a break, a bit of time to adjust. I'll know when the time is right for her :)
