i cant wait to get him

He's a gorgeous little chap, I think that name suits him well. Hope you can have him home soon. Welcome to RU Bailey xxxx

Well little Bailey joins us on Thursday. All we have left to buy is his food which comes in our shopping on Wednesday.
He's getting fed Pedigree puppy pouches and bakers puppy hard mix so he has some variety. Our breeder recommended it for him so we are going with his words

Hi.

Pedigree is awful, awful stuff. Bakers is even worse! :(

You may need to wean him off this stuff gradually for his tummy but please, please don't keep him on it long-term. Pedigree is full of rubbish and very little actual meat. Bakers is full of colours and is well known for causing hyperactivity in dogs.

Have a look at this website:

http://www.allaboutdogfood.co.uk/

And consider ordering online. Zooplus has some great value, good quality wet food. Buying 'expensive' dry food often works out cheaper as you need to feed so much less of it. Millie's wolfheart is a great quality dry food - but there are many others.

We've took the bakers food back and he definitely won't be on pedigree long term it will just be till we find a better food. We are speaking to our vet when we take him in for his second vaccine and asking their opinion but until then he'll be on the pedigree pouches
Thank you for your advice I'll definitley take it on board as he's our first dog/puppy

On thursday 7th july we welcomed home little Bailey boo. Hes settled in perfectly. he lets us know when he needs the toilet which i thinks quite good for a 10 week old puppy. He so adorable and all of our family love him. We only have issue which is him sleeping in his crate at night which i expected and him settling will come over time. On saturday we took him to the vets for his second injection, to be flead and wormed. Then we took him for a trip to Pets at Home to get him fitted for a harness and everyone came up to him. Bet he felt like a celebrity. He was such a good boy. Here are some pics of his few days with us.....

Awww he's a little porker Pup !!

Do you cover most of his crate with a sheet at night ? Making the crate more like a dark den can make the Pup settle better. At least that's how it was for Morse.
