A valentines potato u/d fish cake photos!

Yes, I know I must be mad, finding shapes in potatoes:lol: but I found a heart shaped potato today:lol: I’m going to make hubby a heart shaped fish cake with it tomorrow:lol: (local fish cakes are 2 slices of potato with pieces of fish in between, then battered and fried

Thanks I put pieces of fish in mine. Most places put ground up fish and bones in theirs!

So, I sliced it up and made 2 fish cakes and a potato scallop :lol:

Here’s the during

And here’s after they’ve been battered and fried

The photo makes the batter look darker than it is! The fish cakes have thicker batter to hold them together and take longer to cook than the scallop as that’s just 1 slice of potato :lol:
