My Baxter loves one of my cats and will be groomed by him and snuggle him during floor time. If the cat sits outside his pen, Baxter will run in circles and thump in front of him. I assume he's excited and wants to be let out.
Sorry for the late reply! Baxter will hopefully be living with his lady friend in the not too distant future.
Not sure how to add photos on my phone but we have a new female bunny named Beatrix :)
Hey everyone. Been a while but me and Baxter are doing well. His neuter was delayed slightly as my elderly female dog had to be unexpectedly spayed a month ago and I've been busy with her. She is thankfully 100% back to normal and now Baxter is off for his op on Monday.
We have a new addition...
Thanks for the great advice. Today I have ordered some Timothy hay from timothyhay.co.uk after reading many great reviews on here and the GP forum. The stuff I get from my local shop is ok but not great and I'm sure this new hay will be much nicer for him and my guinea pig.
He loves his loo...
3 days he's been here now and I can't believe how well he's doing. Litter training is pretty much done. Not one single poop on his fleece today and all his wee in the litter tray that I moved to the corner he had been weeing in. He had his first free roam of the living room this evening and he...
Baxter is super friendly and is settled in so fast. He is happy to be picked up, no kicking out of struggling. If I sit in his run with him he will come over to me, climb in my lap and be stroked. He also lays down when you stroke him and he loves his cheeks being rubbed!
But, one thing he has...
Thank you for all the nice comments and replies.
Baxter is doing so well. I shut him in the cage area at night and he seems to be very clean and I woke up to no mess outside the litter trays but about an hour after he was allowed out, he peed in what seems to be his usual spot which is the...
Brilliant, thank you. His plums have dropped already so we are on track lol
Ooh, I didn't know about vaccinations! Does he still need them if he's a house/indoor only bunny? We live in a high rise flat, no outside space :(
That's great advice, thanks. I'm off veggie shopping tomorrow so I'll add a few of those to the list.
He was out and about 5 mins ago so I decided to get a few better photos of him. Had to take him into the kitchen (better lighting) so ignore all the junk in the background
The last...
Thank you. I was told his colour is agouti. Is that correct? I've no idea what he is crossed with but his fur is thick and soft. He's so cute.
I'm not sure what veggies he has had in the past but I've started him off with a few little bits of basic stuff and he ignored it but today he's started...
I collected him yesterday. He is super tame already and has settled in very fast. He's so chilled out.
He is a 12 week old Netherland dwarf cross.
I hope to get lots of info and advice from this forum and I will also be sharing more (better) photos soon.
Just a quick hello from a soon to be bunny mummy.
Next week I will be bringing home a 12 week old buck. He's an agouti Netherland dwarf cross (not sure what with). I have named him Baxter
