Yes I appreciate that, it's just he hates travelling :( Cambridge Veterinary Group has been recommended to me though which at a push is doable distance wise.

They are still a definite possibility but when my vet mentioned 'specialists' I didn't know if the 'Cat & Rabbit Clinic' would be classed as this, as they are a smaller practice & have less diagnostic equipment than other specialists in theory...

Please can anyone give me contact details of any Rabbit Specialists that are as close to Northamptonshire as possible as Dylan is an horrendous traveller! Also if the specialist does phone consultations with Vets? Looking very likely my Vet is going to refer Dylan so need Specialist details...

That's reassuring as I don't want to upset them but at the same time want to get another opinion!

I notice that the Cat & Rabbit clinic uses 'Vets Now' for out of hours care - should i be a concerned about this as I have no experience of Vets who don't have 24hr care on their own premises? I'd need total trust if leaving him overnight with this service as I've never heard of them before?

I'm in the same position as you ATM with my rabbit. Usual vets can't give a diagnosis & seem reluctant to do anything more than take bloods & give meds but that's not getting to the bottom of the problem! They think it could be EC but getting a rabbit savvy vets opinion who is trusted is worth...
