    The Burrowers series

It is about rabbits and not those little people  http://www.chrispackham.co.uk/news/the-burrowers I don't know if this was mentioned but BBC has a series and looks at how rabbits act in the wild. I thought it was good that they used rabbits from rescues and built a burrow for them to see...

    Had a sad rabbit dream

In my dream I was at this high school I think, I was late to go into the assembly where other people had to sit and watch something, so I looked through the window and realised it had started so didn't want to go in. Instead I carried on and at the end of the corridor was an empty homemade cage...

This is what wins shows for UK netherland rabbits

I went to a big agricultural show which had all sorts of animals there on show. I didn't see the rabbits being judged, I think I was too late for that (or distracted by taking photos of the rabbits and rats) I remembered from the discussion of netherland dwarfs and their flat faces and found 3...

    Longest living rabbit

Out of curiosity to see if my 10 year old was anywhere close  I googled the longest living rabbit. 17 years! http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/news/2013/2/my-story-jenna-antol-on-owning-do-the-worlds-oldest-rabbit-46921/ I just felt a little sad that the rabbit only lived on hay and...

    Peter has a new 'friend'

This is Peter, 10 year old neutered male. Harlequin dutch type, he's been alone for over a year since his wife bun died, but I can't get another rabbit as my mum is looking after him and asked me not to, and it's pretty hard finding a place to rent around university that allows pets and in the...

    Double hutches wanted Middlesbrough

A friend of mine needs to put her ferrets outside, wondering if anyone has any free double hutches, doesn't matter what state, she's happy to fix them up. Though she doesn't drive so might not be able to collect but no doubt will make some arrangements if she does have to pick up.

    They do make us worry

So I spent over £100 to find out my rabbit, Peter hasn't actually got stones in his bladder/kidneys. I changed his litter tray the other day and he peed on the floor instead and it was dark red with lots of tiny stones in, so panic mode in thinking he may get a blockage and had stones, he was...

Just wondering about rehoming old rabbits

How likely is it to find a 8/9 or older year old female small/medium rabbit for rehoming? I doubt my mum would agree to it, if there are any, as she's looking after my 9 year old rabbit and I can only get home just over 4 weeks this year. Since I'm not sure about my future, whether I'll have...

Tips on taming an aggressive rabbit

So at work we've had a pair of female dutch rabbits for about a month, one of them has just gotten worse aggression wise, she charges, bites, nips and lunges. They have a small hutch and run combo. We were told she was neutered, but we doubt that, otherwise we have no other info on their past...
