    Brian, Lady Lydia and Rodney

Thank you, I am glad the implant has helped Brian so much. I will need to speak with the vets again and will mention suprelorin. It is horrible seeing him so frustrated, he has been agressive too which is just not like him at all :( The fact that he is now partially sighted won't be helping...

Such lovely bunnies  Hope you don't mind me asking which implant Brian has been getting? My bunny Alfie has the same problem but the vets are not sure what treatment options would be safe for him. Also has he had any problems with his eyes at all? Alfie is suffering with uveitis in both...

Aww they're all gorgeous  I've met quite a few different breeds but never an English lop.

Aww Wriggle is just adorable  So sad that the other babies didn't make it. I hope Wriggle will continue to do well and grow into a beautiful adult bunny :D

I so want him, but he is so far away :( UDpost 51 pg 6 :(

He is lovely  I understand both opinions, I have made different decisions for different rabbits. There are lots of factors when making difficult decisions like this. It can depend on the individual rabbit, the circumstances and the persons own opinions, feelings and experiences. Either...

    Opinions/Advice - HAY ONLY DIET?

Hay varies a lot in nutritional value, it contains different nutrients at different times of the year as well and can be deficient in some vitamins and minerals. You need to supplement it with something. Pellets are a good, balanced source of important nutrients which is why it is usually good...

Has anyone had their rabbits spayed using keyhole surgery?

I know a vet who does this too, strangely he is also South African! He removes everything including the uterus and cervix, but it does require specialist equipment as well as training so it is still a very rare procedure in rabbits. None of mine have been done this way as they were already...

    Hazel 30/12/12

Hazel was my oldest bunny, she was 11 years and 4 months old when she passed. I was 14 when I brought her home and she was 12 weeks old. She was literally a ball of fluff with a little head sticking out. She was a cashmere lop and was already matted to the skin. It was tough trying to keep her...

    Luna 21/12/12

Thank you. I found a photo of her and have now added it. It was Luna and Bambi. I am going to try and bond Bambi with my single girl Poppy. They are both a bit feisty though so I'll need to take it slowly.

    Luna 21/12/12

I only had Luna for 3 months. I saw her and her partner on gumtree and recognised them, they had been in rescue before. I felt sorry for them and went and got them. I think she was about 6 years old, she was in good health but seemed to develop acute pneumonia :( I started her on antibiotics...

    Mojo

I'm so sorry  he was a gorgeous boy and you gave him a great home and a happy life. Sudden loss is hard, I just lost one of my piggies suddenly, it helps me to think that they went quickly and did not have to suffer any illness beforehand. He will have been happy right until the end x

    Bobby my foster bunny

I'm really sorry you had to say goodbye to another bun  I am glad Bobby got to spend the time he had left with you, he was very lucky to have had such love and care x

    Charlie 23/9/12

My little guinea pig Charlie passed away suddenly on Sunday morning  he was 6 so was getting on a bit but he seemed healthy and was happily chatting away and eating the night before, he was gone when I woke up :( I adopted him with his friend Duke who passed away last year so they are now...

    De-miting

I definitely recommend the pharmaq 1% ivermectin drops that helen has suggested. I spent a fortune on xeno and the mites came back again, one of the exotics vets gave me a 10ml bottle of this and there was enough to treat 12 buns for 3 weeks with some to spare! The mites didn't come back this...
