Avast WebShield picking up trojan on the forum

An update: So, I have the same antivirus on my phone. I can't access the forum at all from my phone as any link to it will redirect to a .php site talking about something or other. (I won't post the link here as I don't have it at the moment and I don't want anyone to follow it.) Very strange...

Matting with hay - how should I banish it?

Thank you both! Here's to hopefully not having to go to the vets

Avast WebShield picking up trojan on the forum

Checked through the site - no link flags as suspicious, there's no redirects. It's probably a false positive, but I'm currently doing a full scan to be sure.

Avast WebShield picking up trojan on the forum

So I've noticed something here. It appears there's a trojan virus on the forum. Anyone else get this? Please be careful when you visit, make sure your antivirus is up to date and has picked this up.

Matting with hay - how should I banish it?

Hi all! Humphrey and Clara quite like to play in their hay, so they often get it stuck everywhere. I try my best to pull it all out, but with all the bad weather we've been having, they've developed some mats in their manes and on their feet - with the hay, too. The mane mats will probably be...

    Indoor Run Assistance

I've contacted Boyles, from what I can see the floor is attached so I can put vinyl on it. I think I'll go for theirs! And a stair gate sounds like a good idea in case someone opens the door and the dog somehow gets in, gives some added protection. Now I think about it the room is probably ideal...

    Indoor Run Assistance

Hello all! I may be moving the rabbits inside soon, permanently. I have a large room I can rabbit-proof for them and I am also planning on getting a run (or bigger if we can fit it) so they can be safe and secure when I'm not in the house and at night... but I am unsure on how to fix the...

Christmas treats - ingredients are important!

Hi everyone, Just thought I'd remind you all to check the ingredients of Christmas-themed treats before you give them to your rabbits! The Christmas tree block in the forage box my sister bought for Humphrey and Clara yesterday has some not-so-great things in it, like peas and desiccated...

Some minor teething problems [litter training, toys]

... Oh. I didn't mean literal teething problems, haha! I just meant... in the figurative sense.

Some minor teething problems [litter training, toys]

They only have hay in racks and hay balls next to their two litter trays. One is in the hutch, one is outside but still near. They seem to urinate around the litter tray in the hutch, on the top floor where I described, and sometimes in the middle of the bottom floor, just beside where the ramp...

Some minor teething problems [litter training, toys]

Hi all! I decided to lump these two questions together this time, to save clutter. Question 1: Humphrey and Clara are litter trained. Or rather, they were... You see, a few months ago, they mysteriously lost their litter training and urinated outside the tray. That's fine, I can handle that...

    Water bottle frustration

Oh, I'll look into the sippy bottle! My only concern with bowls is that they may tip or get messy, but I'm going to try them anyway. There are some non-tip bowls in Pets at Home that I'll get, and also that bottle... Thanks, everyone!

    Veggies :D

Spinach is relatively high in oxalic acid, like parsley and mustard. OP says kale is also supposed to be fed less, and I assume that's to do with the misconception that kale is also high in oxalic acid. It's actually low in oxalic acid and fine to feed multiple times a week! Avoid dock leaves...

    Veggies :D

Generally, I would say to give your rabbit a little more than the amount of pellets you give them (if you give pellets) and a little less than the amount of hay they eat. If you've ever seen the rabbit food pyramid it goes something like that. You can experiment with different amounts of...

    Water bottle frustration

Hi all! I've noticed Humphrey has a habit of tugging at the water bottle spout occasionally when he's drinking from it. He doesn't have any difficulty getting water from it, but perhaps he dislikes how long it takes to get the right amount? It's a funny little habit, really, and it's not...
