    Bunnies are expensive

Yup. Basil is now at £1100 and counting for a very tricky ear infection, argh! But he’s gorgeous and has massive feet so we let him off ;-)

I’m so very sorry, you did so much for him. It sounds like you gave an old boy the perfect and happiest time of his life and he would have known that. Xx

    Weird behaviour

How sweet :-) What is she like the rest of the time? Is she timid or brave? Does she seem dominant or submissive? Rabbits are so interesting :-)

I need help with my rabbits.

Slabs is fine I think, mine are on a concrete base and I’ve got a hide house with another hay tray, tunnels, different paving slabs and a large rubber mat in there, as well as a large wooden log, a terracotta pot with loose soil in for digging (which they don’t use, haha) Then more recently...

I need help with my rabbits.

Advice on choosing a vet please

Hi there, I’m currently finding first hand the huge difference when you have a rabbit specialist treat your buns, with a very resistant ear infection in one of mine. I would now say 100% go straight to the specialist if you can x

    Heat! So helpless

Hiya, it’s awful isn’t it. Try freezing bottles of water, then put them next to them. Also try wiping their ears with water too. Best of luck.

RAW 6th June - Keeping cool

I’ve fixed aluminet shade cloth to the top of the grass run, the hutch is under a solid roof in an aviary already. I dunk veges in water before feeding and I wet their ears throughout the day, as well as using frozen water bottles and moving side shading along the sides of the grass run as well...
