Rabbits had a fight and split bottom eyelid!

A past rabbit of mine had this due to a fight. She healed over nicely after a few days of gunky scabbing. A small percenage of eye was permanently exposed, but nothing that effected her comfort levels to my knowledge. Get it checked out to ensure her lense isn't scratched but otherwise I would...

    ruptured tear duct

thankyou for all your support so far. Your views and what the vet says seem to go side by side, he said he'll be "happy" if any infections are on/off and basically self clear with the aid of a saline wash. Only if it continually stays infected would he consider opperating. If you get any other...

    ruptured tear duct

Yeah he said the same. Only if it's infected permanently does he want to think about possibly operating on her. He said to just bathe it as well. She's part of a trio so she is well cared for by her husbun and wifey. Just a new situation for me so unsure what to expect long term :/

    ruptured tear duct

Hey guys. After suspecting a dental issue I got one of my bunnies Xrayed to find out exactly what was going on. Turns out her teeth are great, but her tear duct on one side has ruptured. I have a specialist vet who is rabbit savy and he suggested monitoring how she copes in regards to...

Has anyone ever seen a long haired giant before?

I'm in the same situation with my rabbit Ronnie, just on the opposite end of the scale(: He's about 2/3rds the size of a Netherland Dwarf (': and suuuuuper fluffy!

In need of a diet plan and some advice if possible (:

We don't know his ideal weight because no one seems to know what breed he is :/ Though, checking with the vets is a good idea I just called them (this isn't my usual vets) and they didn't record it down ... this isn't exactly helpful :/ Sorry I did write it down but when I left the internet...

    Peparing for winter!

This is the enclosure for my 9 bunnies (: As I've not long moved house, this isn't all of their permanent run, half of it is still at my parents! Will hopefully get that dismantled and joined onto this one in the next few weeks. I've begun lining the tops of the runs, the next is the sides...

    What breed is my rabbit?

He is a beauty (: and he keeps his own coat immaculate, hardly needs brushing, though I do try to keep on top of brushing his underside for him, but I suppose being house with 8 other bunnies he's not short of a few groomers (: To me he's definitely nethi, though his face appears slightly...

In need of a diet plan and some advice if possible (:

He's 6-9 months old. Pooing like a trooper and moulting, well, he's just fur, it's hard to notice a major change in coats with him. I'll keep a weight diary for him I think

In need of a diet plan and some advice if possible (:

I only ever feed them their breakfast in the AM and fresh hay to last more than 24 hours. They have access to grass every week and on occassion they get a small handful of Kale each but not much else. I only ever feed by eye now, weighing it isn't straight forward with rabbits of different sizes...

    What breed is my rabbit?

I'll have to try get a better image tomorrow showing more of his body type characteristics. It'll make knowing his ideal weight abit easier knowing what breed he may be. On another thread already posted he is currently weighing 750g (so tiny) but he does feel abit boney so I'm thinking he'd be...
