Hi all I've been quiet of late. I've just dropped my Penelope off at the emergency vets this morning. She seems fine in her self eating and alert but she's very wobbly and falls over?? I had the children with me at the time so the vets took her straight away and admitted her and ate doing...

Delayed in seeing this thread but William the exotics specialist works in maldon vets4pets. Can highly recommend him that's no more than 40mins from Brentwood away just straight down the a12.

Probably a really dumb question so please forgive me! Penelope is due her annual vaccinations in about 8 weeks (i think...) could I get her vaccinated sooner?as in perhaps the next couple of weeks? Her jabs are going to coinside with the birth of my baby and being on my own with three children...

I'm sure they do. Candy used to just "know" if I'd had a rough day and she would sit, nothing else except an occasional lick. I miss her terribly! They are not Silly that's for sure!

Well her mum and dad were both over 6kg!! So she should be well on her way to that now ! Last time she was weighed was A while ago and she was 4kg when she was spayed. She's now matured and definitely filled out more!

Yes she's a fair bit more than a mini lop!! ;) She isn't keen on being held, the sheer size of her aswell! I'll invest in a bigger carrier and weigh that then her in it. My local vets is quite far so I don't want to stress her out with the car journey if I can avoid!

After going to feed and snuggle Penelope she is now back breakingly heavy and huge!! She is over a year old so want to weigh her if poss at home, she is due annual vaccines soon so will find out there, but ideally want to monitor her weight over the winter. Any ideas/scales etc?

I have a 1 year old continental giant and a 2 year old English spot. Both spayed and female; do you think they could ever be bonded? My Conti is he more placid one, the English spot suffers with "little rabbit syndrome " I think ... Although she's fine with hoomins. My Conti has always been...
