I am set to invisible to prevent exactly this kind of problem. I have RU as my homepage on all my computers and my phone. Every time I open a browser it would show me as logged in even if I was looking up something at work. Then people would PM me and think I was ignoring them.

Tamsin means report as in click the report button on a post. That way whoever is on next will see it and deal with it. Obviously if your thread has been removed, then you can't report it, but you're welcome to PM all the mods if you want, many people do that. :)

If you post your thread in the wrong place your best bet is to report it (using the report button on the left hand side of your post), and ask for it to be moved. A mod will move it as soon as they see the report. :)

We don't always remove threads just because someone requests it. Although you start a thread, other people contribute to it and it becomes a group conversation. It is not fair on the other people if the OP can just delete it on a whim. If you change your mind about posting something, you can...
