No he doesn't fill up on pellets, he got 1 egg cup full of pellets a day and when I cut it back to half a cup a day , that's when he began to lose weight. He just doesn't like the taste of hay!!

Oh I know how you feel! I tried lodes of ways to get O'malley to eat hay. This morning I added grated carrot and I squeezed the juice out of a plum and mixed it all in and he LOVED it :D

Oh and he also gets his veggies :D and I would the very odd time see him nibbling on a strand of hay but then he will spit it out when he sees me! but he does have fresh hay in his litter tray 24/7 :D
