Can't believe it and no exclusions. They said because I hadn't claimed they've put it down. I've never claimed on any policy anyway. I asked for even more of a reduction and they said yes. So happy about the no exclusion though since she was excluded for digestion before.
Great news for you & Doughnut. I'd be pleased about the digestion exclusion being lifted too -I can imagine that would have the ability to severely limit how much you could claim.
Yes and I know there's lots of things rabbits can do but digestion is a big exclusion! She's had it on there for 5 years.
Yes I'm with NCI. No not yet, the access is £55 so all good at the moment.
Hopefully the excess won't go up a lot next year but some policies won't even take her on due to age. They treat dental too as I rang and asked about that as long as your vet gives them a through check every year.Brilliant, thanks.
One of the things that made me wary of NCI was that the excess stays at £55 throughout the life of the policy ... that made me think the premiums could be scary high as they get older. Scally will turn "officially 7" soon so I've been wondering about swapping while I can. Your news bodes well. I've never claimed for Scally either but I have spent over £1,000 on the little sweetie so far

I've spent over £2,000 on Doughnut in a short period trying to find out what was wrong with her. Lots of tests and being told she was fine and specialist fees and then eventually found out what was wrong. Just paying for ongoing medication now but that's enough although I don't begrudge it. I'd pay a lot more on her if I had to but didn't realise when things go wrong how expensive it is.

They were one of the cheaper ones for me but good coverage and low excess, some I was quoted 30% or 40% of the claim! No thank you.Yes, according to many policies, 5 years counts as 'old age' for a rabbit!
I remember looking at NCI, but the premiums were quite high and no multi-pet discount, so I decided against it. But I think NCI are definitely a contender where rabbit insurance is concerned
