Rabbit Code of Practice Petition - When the government introduced a new Animal Welfare Act in 2006 they promised to write codes of practice setting out how the act would apply to different animals (including rabbits) in terms of accommodation sizes, diet requirements etc. this would help pet owners know how to care for their pets, make sure retailers provided supplies fit for purpose and provide guidelines for prosecution. The government created codes of practice for dogs, cats and primates but ran out of steam before they got around to rabbits.
I would appreciate if you'd consider signing this petition asking them to get on with introducing the Rabbit Code of Practice: Read/Sign the Petition - Thank you!
