Just found a large pigeon (Ithink) feather in Kovus cage in the middle of the hay!!! Obvioously I took it out straight away...could it do any harm to him if hes nibbled at it?

I found a feather in my hay once... actually in the hay bag:shock:...

It was probably just caught up in the hay in the field and the bag sealed without it being spotted.
I've heard of worse things being found in hay on the forum :shock:

Yeah this feather must of been in the hay about 3/4 of the way in the bag! Because theres no other way a pigeon feather would get into the cage and it was in the middle of his hay!

I found a dead frog in mine once :shock:

Last weeks was worst though - a king thistle - how much did it hurt my hand? Took me forever to sort the hay for 25 animals as I was terrified there'd be a small thorn I'd missed in there - ditched it in the end as I couldn't take the pain
