hutch size advice needed please

Hi,

I'm looking to adopt a pair of rescue rabbits, I've not owned a rabbit before so please bear with me. The size of the rabbits will probably be small or medium. Would a 6 ft x 2ft x 2ft hutch with one sleeping compartment be big enough or should I go for a double hutch? If the double, can it be smaller than 6ft? Should it have 1 or 2 sleeping compartments? I'm going to attach the largest run I can find and am at home all the time so buns will have the run all day if they wish.

A 6ft x 2ft x 2ft is fine for two. Some rescues ask for at least a 6ft single storey or a 5ft double storey. One sleeping compartment is fine, mine don't use it anyway :roll: xxx

I agree, mine only go to the toilet in thier bedroom... x
