well thumpers off to the vets tommorrow to see whats up with his mouth and ears.not going to be a happy bunny.going to sort out getting him vaccinated too.wat injection is most important?also,if he has an injection for mites(which i think hes got)will he still be able to have another vac or not?xx
 
I think the myxi is the most important and the vhd can be done 2 weeks later. As for the mites injection, your vet should know if it can be done at the same time. Good luck at the vet tomorrow:)

for mites u could use ivomec on the back of the neck?

mxy will be done first and vhd jab cant be within 2 weeks of other jabs :)

also worth getting him wormed if he hasnt been something like panacur rabbit helps with parasites etc too :)

oh right.my vet said advantage got rid of mites.he didnt have them before i treated him.so dont know where theyve come from.can humans catch worms off rabbits?thumpers always giving me kisses.:? x
 
not sure about transferring to humans as such?

but cleaning buns out 2-3 times a week and using good antibacterial cleaner helps and washing ur hands after u have handled the buns is good.

carefresh their is a rumour going round that that has mites in some bags and also some fresh hay too.

also if an animal is stressed this can occur too.
 
use hay from my local farm.could the incident where my dog had my other two buns affected him?dont think he saw anything but would he have heard?god i didnt think of that!:shock: x
 
well got a new balethe other day from a different fay.its much greener n smells yummy.see if this lot is any better.x
