Chasing

Indiechic

Wise Old Thumper
I asked thi q before to no avail, but now its geting progressivly worse.
they are chasing but no pulling although they look mad at eachother. it happens every time you put them in the run.

why are they doing this? is it that theyve fallen out of bunny love? they are sisters x

Can you run down where they live/routine?

Are they living together all the time, when do they scuffle?

Tam

yep, they spend the majority of the day in thier run either in or outside. they are put back in thier hutch before dusk and spend the evening in a hutch with run underneath.

they live together all of the time. they only scuffle for a little while after they are oput in the run?

x

I think the trouble is when you pop them out into the run they're just having a quick test over who is boss over the 'new' territory. Do you move that run about? If so that adds to the new territory aspect of it.

If you leave it in the same place or even better attach it to their current accommodation you'll probably find the behaviour would reduce :)

soon they are going to be in the shed/run its under construction so fingers x'd they'll do what you say.

lilly looks buggered lol x

At four months old hormones will probably be kicking in - it is not true that they obviously can't be spayed - some vets will spay female rabbits when they weigh 1kg if they are starting to get hormonal. Jet and Chinook are about 4 months old and the vet has just spayed them and they are doing really well.
