Why do people never seem to take rabbits to the vets to be checked after buying them? You take cats and dogs etc so why not rabbits?
If people had an ounce of sense in their head, when they got a pair of baby rabbits they would take them to the vet to be health checked and get advice on vaccinations, neutering etc. This would also make sure that the sexing is correct AND AVOID MANY MANY MANY ACCIDENTAL LITTERS occurring each year.
Why don't the general public think to do this I get so angry when I hear people say the old 'we thought they were two females' line. If you take animals on then the first thing you should do is get them health checked. don't need to be a brain surgeon to work that one out.
Rant ceased, for now at least.
