Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Poor Buster.

I took him for his VHD jab today but Steph wasn't there it was a new girl and she gave him myxi again by accident (she was so upset). She phoned the drugs company and they said he will be fine but he can't have his VHD for 2 more weeks.

Anyways this means poor Buster can't play outside on the lawn (we live behind a farm). I wanted to get him an indoor play pen for emergency's (you may remember my brain bleed) as his cage is too small for him to be in all day long. I found this on zooplus and thought I could put tarpolin underneath and a parasol over the top and at least he would get some fresh air. I also think he could use this in my room. What do you think? Would he be safe until he had his second jab in the garden with this?

Or would this be better does anyone know if it has to be in that shape in the house?
http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/rodents/cages/pens_fencing/33111 I wouldn't need to net on in my bedroom would I? So can I make it a rectangle?

Hiya  The second one you posted the link to, we have. It has to be that shape if yu want the net on top, though it will become a rectangle without the net. My buns have managed to jump out of it without the net on though and one of ours stretched up and chewed the mesh and then got out  not quite sure how he managed that but he is a bit of a houdini. Sorry, don't kow if any of that helps or not :?

Yeah it does because I can put tarpolin over the top can't I? It's just to give him more space to run around in the house too as since my brain bleed he has been in his cage more than usual.

Yes if the tarp was securely fixed on with no gaps I'm sure that'd be ok. They do do a slightly bigger 8 side one I think too? Very similar design. It is only temporary until his VHD and until your stronger and recovered, don't feel bad x

I have the second run you have posted too. I don't have the netting on mine but my lot seem ok with that. To be honest, I'm more worried about the birds that keep sitting in the run with them and pooping on my nice clean grass!
