Vaccinations?

Ok I as reading a leaflet the otherday about bunny vaccinations. and I was wondering if my bunny needs them?

I do not know if Charm has ever been vaccinated before.
He's a housebunny in a very clean, well ket house so I don't think there's very much chance of infection.
He only goes outside in his carrier to go to the vets.

Myxi is spread by biting insects so it's not really to do with cleanliness. A stray mosquito could infect him.

VHD is very contagious, you could bring it home on the bottom of your shoes.

I'd vaccinate even indoors.

I'd definitely agree - house rabbits need their vaccinations too. Both myxi and VHD are horrific diseases.

hi, preston is an indoor bunny and has jab for vhd once a year and myxi twice a year, just to be safe rather than sorry

Mine are indoor bunnies at the moment too and I would always advise to vaccinate. I would feel so guilty if they caught something that could have been avoidable. Better safe than sorry.

Yes house rabbits do need vaccinations too.
