Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Hi guys...

Ok i don't think my rabbits feet are well because at the bottom of her 2 back feet theres a small patch where its just done, no skin protecting it...what the hells wrong??

oh and hi im new!

Welcome to the forum.

Rabbits have a round bare patch of skin right on their heel on their back feet. Usually their is a fur 'comb over' protecting it. On some rabbits, particularly rexes, have thin fur and can get sores on the bottom of their feet. If the skin is broken/scabby you need to pop him to the vet.

Is the skin broken?

The bald patch is right on the heel bone but the skin shouldn't be broken. If you're worried pop him to the vet.

I can only say if the bone is exposed then you need to see the vet.....even if its skin it could still be that your rabbit has sore hock and needs some soothing cream.
