But what is panacur?? everyone talks about it etc..i dont know what it is

Also when rabbits get "snuffles" etc like Janes Bobbie does. How do they get it and what is it

Panacur is a anthelmintic (wormer). In Rabbits it is also used to treat EC. Panacur Liquid is not licensed for use in Rabbits but given at the correct dose (20mg/kg) it is safe when used as directed by your Vet.
Panacur Rabbit is a paste containing the same drug as Panacur (Fenbendazole) and is used as a preventative treatment against infection with EC. The manufacturers felt it worthwhile going to the expense of running the necessary trials to get Panacur Rabbit licensed. I assume they cottoned on to a gap in the market after the EC Research results (Done at Bristol) were made public........

'Snuffles' is passed on by airbourne particles and by direct contact between Rabbits.
