One stoned fruits

I am probably going to sound daft now... but can rabbits eat single stoned fruits and corn on the cob?:? A vet I used to go to, who said she specialised in rabbit care, said that rabbits cant have any fruit that is single stoned, i.e. plums, apricots, cherries etc.. she also said no bananas, tomatoes, cucumber, corn on the cob, grapes and melon. Yet I have seen rabbit food with cherry flavour!! I dont give my bunnies any of this just stick to apples, pears and berries!! Would it be ok to try any of this fruit?

I keep hearing corn on the cob is bad for bunnies... Which came as a not so pleasant surprise after I bought two corn cob type toys from P@H... I know small bits of abana are an okay treat, but must be limited due to their sugar content as they're like sweeties. ^^ Tomatoes I'm sure are a no-no... Grapes I thought were okay in moderation [or else Barney stealing one and running off with it in his mouth was a BAD scenario o_o]. As for plums and other stoned fruits, I dunno...

I personally stick to thinking whether they'd come across it in the wild! OK, a rabbit living near an orchard may come across the odd fallen apple, same with other fruits I suppose, but I don't think dried corn on the cob, bananas, honey, melon, sesame seeds, etc are high on a wild bunny's menu!
I think dried corn on the cob runs the risk of carrying some fungus or something which is harmful, though obviously products have a certain standard to conform to so not sure if this is something that they'd be tested for.
I know apricot and avocado stones are toxic too so I'd be wary about other stones

Tomatoes are fine, as are grapes, cucumber etc. But of course only small amounts not oftren, as they are quite sugary and/watery so may cause some gut issues!

Stoned fruits - must not give them the actual stone, as the kernel inside the stone contains cyanide (and a greedy bun might manage to chew through the stone). Also don't forget that even a small amount of the actual fruit would still be very high in sugar.

Corn is high in sugar and in starch so not at all good for buns whether fresh or dried, however the silks, husks and leaves are fine (lots of fibre).

Grapes I'm pretty sure are fine, it's dogs that they are toxic to (just sugar to consider as with all fruits).

Melon is fine - you can actually give them melon rind (Deej loves it) again just be careful because of the sugar content.

Banana the same (on the sugar front).

Tomatoes and cucumber are fine, but be aware that they have a high water content and a fairly low fibre content (hence why a buns main veg should be leafy greens).
:D
