Alpha Buck
At the end of his healing phase from his neuter, I noticed that Crue started to go into his "that part of year" moult/shed phase.
I have heard that hairballs can cause GI stasis but have also heard that hairballs are a myth? While I am familiar enough and somewhat versed in knowledge with stasis, I am at a loss with actual hairballs.
He, like all rabbits, is a very clean bun and is constantly licking and cleaning himself whenever he has a spare moment aside from the romping and binkying and tossing and chewing and and and.. you know.
Is there anything I can do to aid in him in this time of moult? Anything preventative to prevent getting "gummed up" inside?
I know there is petromalt for rabbits and I DO have some tube of Peters "Rabbit Lax" but have never used it.. its been sitting around as it was in a gift basket of items that I recieved from Petco when I adopted Crue..
Thanks for anything in advance!!
