Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Hiya, I don't know if there's a search for this, but a friend of a friend is looking for a rabbit savvy vet in Essex. I think bun is being treated at a vets already but they're not happy with the care given. Quite urgent I think. Thank you. :D x x

The South Beech Veterinary Surgery in Wickford is my vet. I have tried many vets, and he is the best I have found. I don't have the number handy, but you can get it by googling if it's urgent. Hope this helps.

Thank you. :D I've let them know. I'll try and find out more accurately what area they are in Essex.

I'm quite curious as to what vets they are with at the moment too (just sheer nosiness!) Wickford isn't all that close to me really, but I now travel there for all my animals. People take all sorts of weird and wonderful animals there - not just cats and dogs.

I'm not sure. I'm not really sure what going on with the little bun. Its my brother-in-law to be's friends rabbit (phew!)
It is already at a vet but they've asked me about bunny specialists so I guess they're not happy with the care its getting :?
I'll let you know if I find out!
