Oh Chloe....I hadnt yet got to know you but your parting has hurt me greatly. If we hadnt had you speyed you would still be here with your darling Snowy who will miss you so much, but theres no way we could know what was going to happen.

I hope you are happy and pain free at the bridge and that in time you will be reunited with Snowy. We will take care of her for you in the meantime.

Very sad. :( I've got her life long companion here who is going to miss her dearly.

Chloe went into cardiac arrest at the end of the spay when Rebecca was just finishing up. They got her back once with heart massage and adrenalin but a few minutes later her heart gave out again and they could not get her back.

I'm extremely grateful to my vets for trying as hard as they did. Her heart sounded fine before the surgery and Rebecca thinks they would of only detected a problem (if any) with an ECG and ultrasound.

we have only ever lost one of our buns under anesthetic during a spay / neuter but it is awful knowing that if you hadnt sent them it woulnt have happened . :cry:
